Sebastien has taught the Meisner technique for over 12 years . He trained for 4 years at the Actor’s Pulse in Sydney before moving back to England.
The Meisner Technique was designed to bring the actor into the moment; to ensure that they are truthful, instinctive and free - to live truthfully under the given imaginary circumstances.
What inspire's him the most were the tales of the Early Group Theatre - creative, explosive, unique, passionate, experimental actors and directors in collaboration.
"I believe Meisner is an essential tool to help create truthful and nuanced performances. Sebastien Blanc is an inspirational teacher."
John Strickland - Director (Line of Duty, Bodyguard, Troy, The Three Musketeers, Mr Selfridge, Poirot)
Sebastien also works as a theatre director. He directed the Offie Nominated "The Glasshouse" at the Tristan Bates in 2014.
He has taught at several acting schools before opening his own classes and eventually his own studio - The Actor’s Craft: Studio of Meisner and Method https://www.actorscraft.co.uk/
